Cast of Characters

Astarov Rhugandy (Eric) - The eldest brother, a karmanoi, and member of the Etyries and Entekos cults. He suffers a curse that makes it nearly impossible for him to work magic, but also protects him from its effects. His defining characteristic is his wealth.

Lexmarcus Rhugandy (Scott) - The second son, and fraternal twin to Leonardo. Lex is a hazar-knight of great renowned. He is fearless in battle, leads a secret warband called the Silver Seven, and has a ring that can detect lies. In fact, his connection to Idovanus is so strong that when he speaks the truth he cannot be disbelieved. He is a devotee of the carmanian version of Durbadath. He also has a secret patron from among the Magi.

Leonardo Rhugandy (Todd) - The third son, and fraternal twin to Lexmarcus. Leo is a karmanoi who appears to have turned his back on his duties in pursuit of carnal pleasures. In reality, he is a master of deceit who runs the House Rhugandy spy ring. Leo has a torque that allows him to change shape at will, although not without difficulty. He is an initiate of Bentus and a devotee of Atyar. He is also an illuminate.

Frulimon Rhugandy (Will) - The fourth son, born to a woman from the far west. Frulimon is a hazar-knight and dedicated hunter with a passion for troll-slaying. He has several massive hunting dogs, and a talking horse. Frulimon is a devotee of the carmanian version of Durbadath.

Stavas Rhugandy (Ted) - The fifth Rhugandy brother was born to a grazer woman while his father, Kustavas, was campaigning in Dragon Pass. He was raised among the Grazers for much of his childhood, and is touched by Yu-Kargzant. He carries Ironhoof's Tear, a magical pendant that allows him to merge with his horse to become a centaur. Stavas is considered a vizier, and has received the best education that House Rhugandy could afford in an ill fated effort to work the wildness from him. Kustavas loved him best of all his sons.
